About NEMISA

The National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa was established as a non-profit institute for education in terms of the Companies Act (1973) and is listed as a schedule 3A public entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (1999).

NEMISA’s mandate is to develop creative media and digital skills for South Africans. The institute’s programmes are structured to enhance the market readiness of beneficiaries in creative media and digital technologies. Targeted people: The youth, women, people with disabilities SMMEs, and Government. Rural and Township areas are particularly prioritised.
